Our Foundation There are many sources of contributions within our
membership who will give outside of faith-based commitments
through the real estate industry they work and love. To
maximize the community service effort of our association, the
Arlington Board of REALTORS authorized the establishment of a
"tax-exempt, charitable foundation" named the Arlington Board of
REALTORS Community Service Foundation (ARBOR CSF) in 2007. It is
the Foundation's goal to use 100% of funds raised or donated to
go to important programs and projects within our local
community. |

The Foundation
- Individual housing and community housing related
improvement projects.
- Housing supplemental financial support for medical
dependent homeowners or apartment dwellers or our own
members.
- Helping change temporary housing status of families.
- Expanding educational scholarships and creating
internship opportunities.
- Expand our relationship with existing organizations
like the Boys and Girls Clubs of Arlington.
- Creating new relationships with new organizations
and fill needs not currently met.

Community
Services
Throughout the year our Foundation and the ARBOR
Community Service Committee holds various
fundraisers and charitable events such as;
- Chili Cook-off and
Festival
- Participation in
The City of Arlington 4th of July Parade
- Bowling Family Fun
Day
- Participation in
the Marine Corps Toys-For-Tots
- Contributions to
organizations such as the Boys & Girls Club
and others

October of 2011 -
Annual Chili Cook
Off & Festival. A
fundraiser for the Foundation was held at AARBOR
in Arlington. Over $7000 raised for the
Foundation.

Bowling Fun Day
and Pool Tournament a
fundraiser for the Foundation was held at Alley
Cats Fun Center in Arlington. It was a great
time with bowling, a pool tournament, raffle
prizes and good food.

May of 2011
Awarded (2) $1,000 scholarships to
seniors Sarah Fitzer of Lamar HS and Abby
Sandlin of Pantego Christian Academy.

March of 2011 -
Volunteer Property Cleanup,
our volunteers took part on March 12th
and cleaned up the property of a property owner needing help to keep the exterior
of their property maintained.
October of 2010 -
Volunteer Property Cleanup,
our volunteers took part on Oct 23rd
and cleaned up the property of a disabled
property owner needing help to keep the exterior
of their property maintained.
October of 2010 -
Chili Cook Off, a
fundraiser for the Foundation was held Oct 8th
in the ARBOR parking lot. Approx $8000 was
raised for the Foundation and there was plenty
of fun and good chili.
